Birmingham International Marathon date announced
The date of the inaugural Birmingham International Marathon has been announced as October 15, 2017.
, Deputy Leader of Birmingham City Council, said: “It’s absolutely fantastic news that Birmingham has been chosen to stage an international marathon and now the countdown has begun to October 15, 2017 – a date which I’m sure will go down in the city’s history.
“Not only will this marathon help raise the city’s profile and boost the economy, it will also encourage people from all walks of life to become more physically active. I, for one, cannot wait for Birmingham to host this fantastic event.”
